MILLER DYNASTY 400 TIGRUNNER The complaint unit is overheating. Strip metal blow out, while blowing off welder noticed the fan was not spinning, took front plastic cover off and fan blades would not spin. Dislodged the fan. Applied power to unit fan did not turn. unplugged and measured ohms and read open when it should be 100ohms. Verified that fan is getting power to operate. Weld tested and loadbank test pulled desired amps up to max output. Foot pedal does cause the front display to intermittently pop up ‘remote’ but it does not interfere with the weld output.
The fan will be replaced with a new one.
